The mystery of the missing Romanov children may finally be solved. Bloomberg reports that the bodies of hemophiliac Alexei and his sister Anastasia may have been unearthed in Yekaterinberg. Speculation about Anastasia’s fate has swirled for years, with many insisting that she survived the shooting squad, fueled as much by the romance of the court and the strangeness of Rasputin as by any real evidence of her survival. Many claimants have come forward over the years, but none has been proven to be related to the royal family.
