Breaking News: Peruvian Meteorite Causing Mystery Illness
Peruvian villagers in a remote Andean town near the border with Bolivia reported illness after a meteorite streaked through the sky before crashing to Earth Saturday, blasting a 100-ft. wide, 20-ft. deep hole in the ground. Area residents are suffering from headaches, nausea and vomiting. Local officials sent investigators, only to have seven of the officers require oxygen before being hospitalized due to exposure. Some officials are wondering if the object is causing radiation sickness.
