Why fight them in Iraq when you can fight them in Iran?
Remember the “War on Terror”? We’re now going to call it a “proxy war” with Iran (a.k.a. Al Qaeda a.k.a. Iraqi insurgents). Why blame Iraq for 9/11 when you can blame Iran and have a whole new “enemy”?
Even loyalists are turning tail and heading for the hills after the fiascoes in Iraq and Afghanistan, so now the Bushies want to expand to a 3rd front in Iran. And Kim Jong Il, played by Walken and his hair in the upcoming film version, has announced that he was just flirting with us, freeing up our attention for the other endpoint on the Axis. Yee-haw!
God knows I love a good assassination, and that is exactly what should have happened back in Daddy’s administration. But fighting a three front war? Smells like Armageddon to me. Think I’m kidding? Just look at the rhetoric. Israel is instigating and is vowing to finish (or start) the job if we don’t. It’s a Rapture-Right wet dream.
The best part? We can do it all in 3 days. Call this one “The Longest Weekend.”

They planned this years ago, before Bush was appointed president:
“It’s a matter of public record that this war with Iraq is largely the brainchild of a group of neoconservative intellectuals, who view it as a pilot project. In August a British official close to the Bush team told Newsweek: “Everyone wants to go to Baghdad. Real men want to go to Tehran.” In February 2003, according to Ha’aretz, an Israeli newspaper, Under Secretary of State John Bolton told Israeli officials that after defeating Iraq the United States would “deal with” Iran, Syria and North Korea.” (http://www.pkarchive.org/column/031803.html)
