Agent Zero here. Hannah wrote to us last week with this astounding report of a haunting she experienced. After reading it a couple of times, I’m convinced it wasn’t her mind playing tricks; this was the real thing. Read her report and judge for yourself!

“Hi guys -

“I’m not sure if this is what you guys are looking for, but I liked your site and I wanted to ask you about something that happened to me while I was in college. It was pretty weird and I’ve never forgotten it.

“I used to deliver pizza in my college town which is in central Tennessee. There’s a lot of forest around there and some of the orders we got were out on rural routes. They weren’t real far from town or anything, so we still delivered out there.

“This one week, I got a call from a guy out on rural route 12 every night real late, like around midnight. We didn’t close until 2am because of the bars closing then, so it wasn’t that unusual. I had to drive way out past a whole lot of nothing to get to this dude’s house and it was pretty dark along the way. One thing I noticed my headlights picking up was this little white cross, like someone made it, with some flowers on it on the side of the road. It looked like those ones people put up if someone dies in an accident or whatever. I probably wouldn’t have even paid attention to it except that there was this weird fog coming out from it like a steam valve or something was underneath leaking it up. It looked kind of creepy but I didn’t think much of it when I noticed it the first night.

“When I drove out there the second night, though, I was already in a weird mood because the dude had ordered again at midnight, this same house way out there. It wasn’t totally unusual to have a repeat customer, but this guy wasn’t a regular and wasn’t exactly at the dorm or apartment around the corner. When I went past the cross, I guess I was sort of looking for it that time and that same creepy column of fog was there, but this time I swear to god it looked like the shape of a person. It wasn’t real clear, like I couldn’t tell if it was a woman or a man, but it totally had a human outline. I was pretty freaked out, you know?

“It happened every night that week, each night the figure seemed to get a little clearer. Not clearer, I guess, but more of a shape to it so that you could really tell that it looked like a person. I think it was about the size and shape of a teenage girl, but that might have been my mind playing tricks.

“The last night was a Sunday and I just was totally feeling like someone else had to take the delivery because I couldn’t deal. But the other guy who delivers on weekends called in sick and I had to do it. When I got to the cross, there she was–a girl made out of smoke. I know it sounds totally crazy but that’s what it looked like. When I got to the guy’s house with the pizza, I was like shaking from seeing that thing. I asked him if he knew what happened down the road where the cross was. He said his daughter had died there in an accident a year ago coming home late one night. I know this sounds pathetic but I ran out of there because I was going to start crying.

“I’ve never forgotten this incident in my life and I have no idea if I saw a ghost or what it was. The guy never ordered pizza again. Maybe I freaked him out with my reaction. I don’t know. But I definitely don’t make fun of people now when they say they see ghosts.”
