He wants World War 3 so Jesus will come back.
That’s the short reason that George W. Bush is arranging for martial law, a permanent presidency, and a nuclear attack on Iran.
Don’t pshaw. Forget all the evidence, plain as day. Just ask yourself: could you really put it past these guys?
Here’s a brief summary of the why. Why would he want to create a dictatorship, install himself as dictator, and start seven wars in five years?
Like everything else, the answer seems to be in his misguided understanding of the Bible, helped along by a cynical band of schemers who may or may not be believers but would like to be part of a New America in which reflects their neo-fascist ideals.
Jesus told him to do it. That’s why. Jesus said that he won’t come back until Armageddon happens. Since he believes (like most evangelical Christians) that we’re living in “the last days”, and Armageddon is right around the corner, Mr. Bush thinks God has appointed him to help start the war.
If you understand this, it makes his actions a lot clearer, doesn’t it? There’s no time to waste, and democracies definitely waste time. Much faster to just say “do it” and have the subordinate say “sir, yes sir!”. No votes to count except your own.
Oh, also, if the number of wars you’re starting requires a draft — or large-scale privatized armies with the power to conduct their own drafts (you read that right!) — then having a highly policed society makes sense. There is no time to waste putting down protests or riots. Get an armed police force out on the streets enforcing checkpoints, random searches, and ID checks. Control first; conscription after that.
“I’ve told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.” That’s what GWB told the press last week. Watch for yourself:

This sounds more like a prediction than a warning. If you think about his argument, you’ll realize that he’s saying it’s already too late. Iran already knows how to build a nuclear weapon. Therefore, WWIII is a foregone conclusion.

I have serious problems with the way our government is being run, sure. Bush behind 9/11? Let’s put it this way: if he wasn’t, he could have been, and probably wishes he’d thought of it.
Katrina? That really didn’t help him, did it? Wasn’t he singing cowboy songs with some guy in Texas while people were dying?

Well Bush better hurry he only has 24 days till elections and then he will be out of office so he needs to get going if he plans on starting that dictatorship……or is it you are one of the stupidest people I have read in awhile.
