Firstly, as far as I know, whilst hypnosis is a very powerful technique, it requires the consent of the subject. People can't be hypnotized without knowing it (don't quote me though!). And secondly, if you are hypnotized you go into a state of semi conciousness. Meaning it would be impossible to recount such a vivid story if you were under hypnosis. This version of the Rope Trick has not been seen for many decades and this supports a more established are far more gruesome theory. The boy who climbs the rope and disappears is infact one of a pair of twins. And there is no illusion to his dismemberment. Supposedly, the boy who climbs the rope is infact murdered and his remains put into a basket where his twin is concealed. It was apparently a way of disposing of unwanted twins which is almost certainly why it has not been performed for many many years. I still have no idea how the fakir gets the rope to stand upright though... And I'm almost certain its not a hidden wire supporting it from above. This is SO false.

People must realize and remember, those who believe anyway...that there ARE a third of the angels of heaven (fallen) that are roaming this earth. Another fact is that hardly anyone, experiences these kinds of things in America and there is a reason for it.
