Is Bigfoot an Endangered Species?

Perhaps, but should he be protected as such? Mountie Mike Lake is petitioning the Canadian government to get the (alleged) creature added to the Canadian version of the Endangered Species list. Similar requests have been made to the US Congress but to no avail. Proponents argue that protecting the likely habitat of the creature may be our best chance at saving him long enough for him to actually be discovered.
