Night Classes for the Spooky

Scotsman.com is reporting that Glasgow University’s respected professor of astronomy Archie Roy, for whom an asteroid has been named, will now conduct a continuing education course on scientific evidence for paranormal phenomenon. The controversial class will cover the latest findings on phenomenon such as apparitions, haunted places and people, poltergeist activity, telepathy, mediumship, psychic surgery, paranormal healing, possession and reincarnation.
It’s a wonder that people are riled up about the course. The UK is home to many parapsychology programs, for example, offering both graduate and undergraduate degrees and is generally more accepting of the field than the US.
